AHOK, Jakarta’s Governor – is being supported
by Independent’s Line (AHOK’s Friends) and also supported by The Party Line
Will he still be the next Governor of Jakarta ?
– One or more of the Parties are now showing the support for AHOK to be the
next governor through them. Even the “Ahok’s Friends” has already stated that
they have collected about 1 million identity cards to support AHOK to go to the
election from the independent line. “Ahok’s Friends” does agree if Ahok can
also be supported by the Party line. Their main goal is, AHOK must be the next
Governor of Jakarta, because of the
credibility that AHOK has so far.
Golkar,
Nasdem, and Hanura are parties that support Ahok since they already have the
minimum quota in the city council and they are eligible for doing so. About
months ago, they didn’t give their support for Ahok, because the identity cards
hasn’t reached one million yet. That means Ahok could be fail in independent
line and could choose to join to he party line, but since yesterday, “Ahok’s Friends” has
collected one million identity’s cards and still counting. That’s a very good
news. That means citizens of Jakarta love Ahok to be the Governor.
“Ahok’s Friends” are okay if
Ahok also compete to the election through the party, like PDIP party before.
“there is a little worry of being abandoned in the middle of the process of
election by the party, it could be like not being registered or something else
that probably could happen” Ahok said in His Office in Jakarta.
Ahok said, “ the party will meet
and speak up about the intention for the next election” this is concerning the possibility for Ahok
goes through the party line, meanwhile the support from the independent line is
more than enough for him to the election.
The party and “Ahok’s Friends”
will meet and discuss the rules and process that is needed for winning Ahok as
the Governor. “I don’t know what it will be like” said Ahok. Just follow the
process. Only one thing that “Ahok’s friends” worries, it’s about the inconsistence possibility of
registering Ahok as a Governor in the middle of the election’s process.
A
few months ago, when PDIP states the support for Ahok, “Ahok’s friends” also asks about the
confirmation letter. Unfortunately, PDIP has internal mechanism which cannot be
interfered by outsider, such as “Ahok’s friends” or anything else.
Ahok also sure that “Ahok’s
friends” will agree if he is using the party line, because the main goal is to
be the next Governor. It can be from independent or the party.
